Wyld Oaks is an ambitious 215-acre mixed-use project, located along Kelly Park Road. With plans for 3,000 multifamily units and 1.1 million square feet of non-residential space, Wyld Oaks promises to redefine Apopka’s landscape.

Under the leadership of visionary founder Joseph Beninati, Wyld Oaks is set to transform Apopka into a dynamic mixed-use destination. The project includes up to 280,000 square feet of retail space, 70,000 square feet of restaurant space, two hotels, and 3,000 to 4,000 multifamily and condominium residences, scheduled to break ground in 2024.

The groundbreaking ceremony on January 19 was attended by business and industry attendees, emphasizing Wyld Oaks as a hub where people will live, work, stay, dine, dance, and play.

A key feature of Wyld Oaks is its commitment to preserving the natural environment. Yonder, a 10-acre nature preserve, will house majestic heritage oak trees, creating a canopy for the area. A video presentation, “Preserving the Muses of Wyld Oaks,” showcased efforts to protect these century-old trees, inviting guests to add their names to a commemorative plaque honoring their legacy.

Joseph Beninati unveiled the comprehensive master plan, featuring retail and residential spaces, expansive outdoor entertainment venues, up to 200,000 square feet of office space, and Wyld Green—a place for relaxation and recreation with an extensive multi-use trail network.

City of Apopka Mayor Bryan Nelson expressed excitement about Wyld Oaks, stating, “We are excited about the Wyld Oaks master development. It’s an innovative project that will support Apopka’s exponential growth with residential and commercial uses that will generate long-term economic impact and benefits for our community.”

Cate Manley, President of the Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce, highlighted Wyld Oaks’ contribution to the community, stating, “Wyld Oaks supports the work, play, live initiative in Apopka, and all who travel to our community to use our recreational amenities.”

Wyld Oaks emerges as a beacon of growth and innovation in Central Florida, combining residential, commercial, and recreational elements to create a vibrant mixed-use destination. With its groundbreaking ceremony marking the beginning of construction, Wyld Oaks is set to be a cornerstone of Apopka’s development, promising a dynamic and thriving community for generations to come.
